These terms cover your use of MovieBest. By using the app you agree to them, so it is worth a read.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13, or older if that is the minimum age where you live. If you are under 18, use the app with a parent or guardian.
What MovieBest does
It helps you find movies and TV shows, decide what to watch, and keep track of what you have watched. It is for your own personal use.
Free and premium
The app is free to use. A premium subscription lifts the limits and removes ads. Subscriptions are sold through Apple and billed to your Apple Account. They renew automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and you can manage or cancel one at any time in your Apple Account settings.
Payments and refunds
Apple handles every payment, renewal and refund. If you want a refund, request it from Apple rather than from us. Prices can change, and we will make any change clear before it applies to you.
Data and suggestions
Information about movies and TV shows comes from The Movie Database. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Where a title is available to watch changes often, so treat it as a guide and check with the service itself.
AI suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong. Treat them as a starting point.
Other services
The app relies on outside providers to work, and it may link you to services run by other companies. What happens there is covered by their terms, not ours. Ourprivacy page lists who we currently rely on.
What you may not do
Do not try to break, copy or resell the app. Do not scrape it, overload it, work around its limits, or use it for anything unlawful.
Who owns what
We own the app, its name and its design. Posters, artwork and information about titles belong to their own rights holders. Your lists and notes are yours.
No promises about availability
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, error free, or that a suggestion will suit you. Features may change or be withdrawn.
Our liability
We are not liable for indirect loss, or for anything that follows from using the app, beyond what the law requires of us. Nothing here removes rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Ending your access
You can stop at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
If part of these terms does not apply
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, everything else still stands.
Changes to these terms
We update this page as the app develops. We do not send a notice each time, so check back now and then. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and continuing to use the app means you accept the current version.
